GLASS BEADS
Glass
blasting beads contain spherical micro beads that produce an
extremely smooth finish during blasting. They clean
surfaces quickly without damaging the substrate material, and
produce very little dust since these beads can be blasted a
lower PSI compared to other abrasives. A reduced amount
of dust means better visibility for operators and less time
and money spent to clean the work area.
CRUSHED GLASS
Because glass beads are offered in a selection of sizes,
they are flexibly suited for many sandblasting applications
ranging from light processes for fine detailed work, those
involving metals like aluminum and stainless steel, shot
peening, or cleaning and deburring rough surfaces.
Glass beads reduce the overall cost of media since they can
be recycled and reused several times. They are
environmentally safe, containing little to no chemicals or
free silica.
